Some schools require that during each school year, children attend school for nine months and then have a three-month break. Other schools require that children attend school for three months at a time and then have a break of one month between each of the three-month periods. Which schedule do you think is better for children's education, and why?
2)范文:
It is a common phenomenon that schools require their students attend school for nine months and then have a three-month break. Compared with attending school for three months at a time and then having a break of one month is better, the former is better.
First, it is obvious that it is beneficial for students to continue their study. The main reason is that having lessons for nine months can make sure they keep studying for a longer time. Therefore, they can have a continuous experience of study, which contributes to their study. However, if they have a break after three months and have a one-month break, chances are great they will forget what they have learned before. Take my sister as an example. Her school used to ask students to attend school in such a pattern. My sister told me that after she relaxed for a month, she could hardly remember anything she had learned, even the most basic knowledge and she had to spend a large amount of time reviewing. However, now the policy has changed to a continuous nine-month study, after which a three-month break follows. After nine month study, she could master the knowledge better due to the constant study. We can conclude that attending school for nine months and then having a three-month break can make sure the constant study.
Second, such a measure can avoid the preparing time at the start of each semester. The main reason is that after a holiday, students need time to collect themselves up, like getting used to the daily schedule of school. This definitely requires a lot of time. If they have a nine-month study and three-month break, they only need to adjust once, but if they have a break every three months, they have to adapt to the new environment three times, which will definitely affect their study. My brother can serve as a good example. He has nine-month study continuously. Once he envied his friend, who attends to school for three months and then has a break. The situation changed after his friend told him that after each break, he had to spend about one month adapting to the busy schedule of the school, as his time at the holiday was so free. My brother felt that at least he could save the bother of changing himself to adapt frequently. Therefore, we can see that having a longer time of study before a longer break can contribute to save of time.
To sum up, I believe requiring students to study for nine months at a time and then have a longer break is more beneficial.
