What type of skills do you think is more important? Explain why.

Inevitably, cultivating more skills would largely ensure that individuals would boast grand success in their career. In terms of the type of the skill, I am fully convinced that having the skill to maintain creative and better self-expression could do us a greater favor.

To begin with, those with the ability to keep creative would considerably guarantee that we could have a better performance at work, contributing to a potential promotion in the long run. Clearly, the majority of the careers couldn’t survive without creative minds, ranging from basic daily routine drivers expecting more consumers or the popular IT field struggling for greater market. Thus, employees with better creativity would assist the company to obtain more profits within a shorter period of time, encouraging more people to pour to enrich themselves with more innovative ideas. The story occurring to myself could perfectly prove that. What was most unforgettable for me was the experience of learning to possess a more creative mind in the training courses in our industry. Thanks to the course supplying various methods to analyze current situation and materials, I usually could have better achievements at work compared with peer partners, impressing my supervisors a lot who eventually offered me a grand promotion two years later.

Besides, better self-expression skill could significantly help us to adapt to the changing circumstance full of challenges and opportunities simultaneously. No matter which area we are involved in, self-expression could play an irreplaceable role in adapting to the social circle as well as the new working environment, based on comprehensive communication with other colleagues. Hence, thanks to better expression, partners would immediately have better cooperation with us and the leaders would no doubt notice our brilliant and intelligent perspectives during seminars. However, compared with the talkative competitors, those without good expression skill would suffer more to have access to the new circumstance due to lacking sufficient communication and presentation. Zoe’s story would better than anyone else, who usually felt quite confident of her self-expression skill do her a great favor to work better. She indeed spent large amounts of time enhance her skill to express herself better by studying the eye contact, body gesture or even the emphasis in speech. Benefited from the training, she could clearly express her ideas and accomplished all the tasks smoothly with partners even as freshmen. Actually, before having great expression skill, she used to suffer a lot from being awkward owing to the lack of presenting her thoughts clearly and logically.

To put everything in a nutshell, having better creative skill and self-expression skill could help individuals work better and adapt to the working environment better.
