有一种常年生活在北极圈的鲸鱼,它有一个2~3米长的长牙,科学家们研究为什么要有这个长牙。
1-北极有很厚的冰。这种鲸鱼无法用腮来呼吸,因此他们用长牙破冰来呼吸。
2-雄性的鲸鱼用它们的长牙,来当做武器来捍卫自己的领土,就像鹿用角一样。
3-牙上的小孔可以作为水压、水温、盐度、甚至水压的探测器。

1)题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Online classes, in which you communicate with your professors and other students only by computer, offer more advantages and benefits to students than traditional classes on a college campus.
2)范文:
Thanks to the advanced electronic devices, schools could enable students to receive ordinary education as usual. From my perspective, it is of less significance for students to have online courses compared with normal classes in traditional classrooms.
To begin with, it is quite obvious that teachers would easily manage the class with more specific principles or activities. Apparently, the primary reason is that while attending traditional classrooms, students could have more access to the direct orders of teachers, such as focusing on the courses or having group discussions with peers. Consequently, teachers could manage the classroom more precisely by communicating with students in person. However, online courses could supply nothing but nodding heads or losing minds, which barely could allow teachers to manage the class better. The story happening to Bob could perfectly prove the statement. During special period of the time in a term, such as unprecedented heavy snow, school usually arranged online courses for students, during which students could simply sit at home while listening to the teachers’ lectures through computers. Though this aimed at solving the problems of interrupting the whole learning process, students sometimes complained they couldn’t clearly understand teachers directions and some even secretly played tricks with mates without teachers’ direct supervision. However, during most time, attending courses on campus never allowed this scenario to occur, since teachers would present their directions to better manage the classroom, allowing the students to be better involved in the classroom activities.
Besides that, students could receive more detailed feedback or get their puzzles eliminated in classrooms. The main reason is that during online courses, professors would sometimes spare no efforts to hurry up with the teaching process since all the relevant activities would be carried out quite slowly compared with ordinary courses. As a result, students would hold their questions and won’t receive immediate feedback about their performance in class. However, ordinary classes could guarantee this perfectly as teachers could easily manage the entire classroom and continue the course one step by another, during which students might also boast some more spare time to specifically get their problems solved. Taking Bob as an example, during his online period, he sometimes required to take notes when running into questions towards academic study, and turned to his professor after class when the professor was almost surrounded by tons of questions after the course by more students. However, during ordinary courses, he was barely worried about this, for the teacher could always efficiently accomplish the course with more spare time to answer students questions.
To put everything in a nutshell, ordinary courses could provide more direct classroom managements and answer more questions from students compared with online courses.
