I think it’s ok to disagree with their instructors.

First, teachers are humans, and humans make mistakes. So, it’s perfectly fine for a student to point out teachers’ mistakes as long as he’s respectful. It could be something small like a typo or a misspelling. In addition, some of the teachers actually encourage students to challenge them during class time by disagreeing and raising questions. Because this can push students to study harder and concentrate better during class, which yields better learning results. This can also help students to be more rational and responsible and always have their own thoughts among different perspectives. This kind of critical thinking skills is an important part of education.
