Well, I personally agree with the statement that students will learn more if they have more friends in class. The main reason is because friends help forming a relaxed learning atmosphere. Students will not be afraid of participating in class discussion or group game activities because they have really close relationship with one another. In that case, students will not feel shamed if they make any mistakes.

Also, it can be easier for students to study after class. They can easily form into study groups to review their notes and cram for tests. Students can help each other out on subjects like math which can be a great plus!
