Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Athletes do not deserve the high salaries they’re paid?

范文：

Well, I actually think athletes’ high salaries are fair. Firstly, athletes are good role models for people especially for young adults. What I mean is that they always have clear goals and make efforts for them. For example, NBA stars usually train for more than 10 hours a day. And sometimes, they have to put their bodies in danger. So young adults may try to imitate those behaviors and work hard in schools. Plus, after a long period of intensive training, some athletes may get some physical injuries. Some of the injuries may take months to recover, but some will stay with them for the rest of their lives. So I think they really deserve a high pay.
