Well, I don’t think watching television is a waste of time. First of all, watching TV is a great way for students to relax. Nowadays, students are under heavy workloads. They have tons of academic pressures like they need to deal with their classes, papers, quizzes and so on. If they get chances to watch TV programs, they can become refreshed in order to cope with their stress. Also, some TV programs are educational and can help students widen their horizon. For example, there are a lot of educational programs such as historical documentaries and talk shows that allow people to accumulate knowledge. Those things are all helpful for students.
