TASK2 ( 10题 )
1. When you have different opinions on government policy with your family members, will you try to persuade them to agree with yours?
Sample response:
Personally, I won’t try to persuade my family members to agree with mine.
The main reason is I am not that mature enough. To be honest, I am just a freshman majoring in software and what I care about everyday is mainly on things like how much time left for the deadline of my paper. It seems many social policies have nothing to do with me. But, my father is a university professor on economics and my mother is at eacher working in a high school. Both of them are erudite. To some extent, their perspectives on many policies, such as how to boost economy, how topromote the fairness of our society, seem more reasonable, thus I am morelikely to listen to their opinions.
2. Do you prefer to make decisions by yourself or instead to consult your friends and family members? Please give your explanation.
Sample response:
Actually it depends on what decisions. To be honest, when it comes to important decisions, like what jobs to take, I prefer to consult my family members. The main reasonis they are experienced and familiar with many things in our society.
Taking myself for example, now my major is marketing and constantly I am at a loss about what job I can do in the future. It happens that my father is a professor studying management and my mother is an HR. They give me very practical guidance on the development of certain industries, what industries match my specialty and preference, what strengthen and weakness I have and so on. All these lead me to be well aware of what I may do after graduation. If merely thinking by myself, hardly can I be so clear.
