You're in a hurry, waiting in line to checkout and something happens to slow the line down. The customer in front of you has brought 20 items to a 12 item express lane, a price check is needed and no one is around to do it, the computer system goes down, etc. It's enough to make your blood boil.
你在赶时间,排着队等结账,可前面出了状况,让等待的队伍前行缓慢。排在你前面的顾客买了20样东西,却排在12件以下快速结账的队伍里;有件商品的价格需要确认,却没有人理会;或者结账的电脑突然坏了。这样的各种状况都有可能让排队的你怒气上涌。
Here comes the checkout rage or checkout line rage, which refers to extreme anger caused by a perceived wrongdoing or a lengthy wait in the supermarket checkout line.
这就是我们所说的“收银台怒”或者“收银台排队怒”,其实就是在超市收银台前排队结账时等待时间太长,或者因为发生了别的状况而感到异常恼怒的状态。
